Have you looked here? http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/hornetq/tags/HornetQ_2_2_7_Final/examples/core/embedded/
(It's also part of the distribution.. that's the embedded example that's part of the distirbuiton... also discussed on the manual)
Thank you for responding to my question.
Yes I have. That's actually where I started. But that example is not persistent nor is transactional.
Also, I looked at http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/hornetq/tags/HornetQ_2_2_7_Final/examples/jms/embedded/ but that is not using persistency, in JVM transport or transactions.
Ideally I would like to be able use JMS as the API and HornetQ as the implementation of a simple in JVM durable (crash safe) transactional queue. No need for clustering or TCP/IP transport.
Do you know if anyone has done this? Or can you guide me on gow to do it?
So I started reading the User Manual, and seems like I had a total case of RTFM. The manual is great and explains everything. Sorry for polluting the user forum.
