Depends on the Container you use. JBoss AS Embedded 6 needs it setup in the environment where Arquillian run, while JBoss AS Managed can use the JBOSS_HOME/jbossHome environment / arquillian.xml variable.

I'm thinking about running the embedded version of JBoss 6. I didn't see how I can set the JBOSS_HOME in any of the URL's you provided Aslak. I want to set it in arquillian.xml (or in my pom.xml if possible).

In maven-surefire-plugin the env.JBOSS_HOME is referred to. That's the one to change:) Problems solved, thanks again Aslak!
