Since we made some server configuration changes to fit in our purposes in 4.2.3, would everyone to help me map out correspondent file changes in AS 7 in following area?
In AS 4.2.3:
1. $JBOSS_HOME/server/default/conf/standardjboss.xml - <locking-policy>
EJB2.x functionality is still a work-in-progress. So it's too early to say what kind of configurations will be exposed. But whatever those configurations be, they will be exposed via the subsytems in the standalone.xml/domain.xml and are updatable via the management operations.

2. $JBOSS_HOME/server/default/conf/login-config.xml - <authentication><login-module>

By the way, where can I find standalone.xml scheme?
JBOSS_HOME/docs/schema has the relevant xsds. They are also published here http://www.jboss.org/schema/jbossas/
