see forum post. checked within RF demo.
progress bar updates it max value in script fine (after it reaches 100 and maximum already changed to 150 it continues polling). But the bar itself shows full on reaching 100 value and only after the value becomes larger - its redrawn with new max.
thanks!
I'm not sure I quite understood your response. Is this a bug that needs to be fixed, or is there something I can do to make it work for me now? -

nbelaevski Sep 28, 2009 2:17 PM (in response to mdmaurer)That's a bug. As for now you can re-render progress bar component explicitly.

mdmaurer Sep 28, 2009 5:23 PM (in response to mdmaurer)The explicit reRender works, but does cause an annoying “flash on the progress bar after every update. I suppose I can live with that for now. Thanks.

6. Re: rich:progressBar not updating when maxValue changes
mdmaurer Sep 28, 2009 8:00 PM (in response to mdmaurer)One other issue I noticed is that when I initially set the minValue to 0, the progressBar will not render as long as the current value is 0. It waits until the current value changes to 1, and then the progressBar becomes visible and shows the progress of 1. Why won't it render itself when the current value is equal to the minValue?
