    application-name from application.xml is ignored

    Daniel Guggi Newbie

      Hi,

      I have the following application.xml:

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

      <application xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/application_6.xsd" version="6">

        <application-name>component1-ear</application-name>

        <display-name>component1-ear</display-name>

        <module>

          <ejb>component1-impl-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar</ejb>

        </module>

        <library-directory>lib</library-directory>

      </application>

      which is contained in a file called component1-ear-1.0-SNAPSHOT.ear.

      When deploying this ear to jboss 7.0.1/7.0.2 the following JNDI names are used:

      java:global/component1-ear-1.0-SNAPSHOT/component1-impl/Comp1Local1Bean

      so the application-name is ignored. I expected the following jndi-name:

      java:global/component1-ear/component1-impl/Comp1Local1Bean

      anyone having similar problems?

      tia,

      daniel
