Client (2.2.2) and Server (2.2.7) incompatible

I have a client in version 2.2.2. In its hornetq-version.properties it says that it sends out with 122 and is able to receive 121, 122.

I have a server in version 2.2.7 and they don't talk to each other because from version 2.2.5 on the hornetq-version.properties says the it supporst only 121. Is this by accident or by purpose that 122 vanished ?

2.2.5 should be compatible with 2.2.7.... it should be possible to just change the hornetq-version.properties there. we probably missed something on that.

We are adding version compatibility tests... and that should be ok within a stream of the release. There was some confusion probably now because 2.2.7 was made for AS7.
