Is there any XADatasource available for HSQLDB?

I'm using JBoss AS 6.1, there is a HSQLDB v1.8 out of box, but I can't find any XADatasource configuration in hsqldb-ds.xml.

Does HSQLDB support two-phase-commit at all? Or maybe the HSQLDB in JBoss7 support that?

Even in the latest version of HSQLDB - currently 2.2.6 - XA Transactions aren't supported. However the HSQLDB development team are planning such support - See this from the development page of the HSQLDB website.

We will be completing the additional features listed below, which are in an advanced stage of development (or nearly complete).
J2EE features such as XA transactions, connection pooling, JMX, etc
