Navigation by AJAX is not recommended, unless it is of "redirect" type. Use h:commandLink if you do not want to use redirect navigation.
Thanks for the reply and for the advise.
although it is not recommended, It is nicer to the user to have an ajax feedback.
I have a left panel that shows a table with the object to visualize, when I click on the object, the viewObjectPage is shown on a right panel via ajax.
This works fine in firefox but in iexplorer it doesn't.
I have found an example of richfaces in production that works as I want:
I have chequed it and use the same richfaces version: 3.3.2SR1
I also have noted that the photoalbun demo is loading
My application is loading
Just to clarify: what is actually called - "action" or "actionListener"? Your code snippet contains only actionListener and not action. The difference is that navigation doesn't happen for actionListener, so there can be another thing causing problem.
As you said, there is no navigation here, it is just a reRender by ajax, but I still have the problem in iexplorer.
