    RichFaces Trees and InPlace Input

    William Abbott Newbie

      I've got a tree structure with which I need to implement InPlace Input using Richfaces.

      The problem I am having is that I need for InPlace Input to not be in effect on the entire tree, but rather, only on the second level of the tree, ignoring the first part of the tree.

      How can I go about accomplishing this?

      I've included a picture for some hopeful clarity.

      XHTML Code:

      <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

      <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"

            xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"

            xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"

            xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets"

            xmlns:rich="http://richfaces.org/rich">

          <ui:composition template="/template.xhtml">

          <ui:define name="title">Tester Page for Random Things</ui:define>

          <ui:define name="content">

      <h:form>

      <rich:tree value="#{treeController.skillRoot}" var="parent">

          <rich:treeNode>

                      <rich:inplaceInput value="#{parent}"/>

          </rich:treeNode>

      </rich:tree>

      </h:form>

          <br></br>

          </ui:define>

          </ui:composition>

      </html>

      Thank you in advance for any help.
