Client Side table sorting instead of AJAX

Hi,

I have been seeing that jquery and prototype js libraries are included in richfaces jar files.

Over the net there are several options available in these libraries for table sorting and filtering.

Is there a way we can use it in richfaces datatable.
It would greatly improve the performance of the table.

Thank ilya,

However, my point was, if we can change the ajax sorting in rich:extendeddatatable with jquery sorting,

it can improve table performance.

Currently, if I need to filter or sort data in the table, the ajax feature takes a long time.

I thought you just asking how to use some js widgets within your RF pages. So provided the way of loading :)

As for how to use - we have no such samples unfortunately. maybe somebody from the community will answer there if tried.
