But I want to configure it in the my application, like my before application, put a log4j.properties and add log4j jar in the classpath...I do not want extra steps to configure it.

But I wonder why Seam 2 log can delegate Seam Log to the underlaid logger automatically...but Seam 3 does not follow the rule.
