IE8 in compatability mode and fileupload BUG

I am noticing some odd behavior when running IE8 in compatibility mode and the Add button on the rich:fileupload. When I resize or minimize the window the Add button disappears and is just a gray box.

I've tried with both 3.3.1GA and 3.3.2CR1. Both have the same issue. This is running in a JBoss portal environment with the 1.0.0CR1 portlet bridge. Here is the javascript error on the page

Once it goes away I have to refresh the page to see it again. Not a huge bug but it is annoying to users.

I don't think it is a portlet bridge issue. The upload component works fine. It is just a rendering problem when the browser is resized. It almost seems like a styling issue of the fileUpload component.

I just can't see this at livedemo in IE8 compatibility mode.
