Hello World Tutorial using Maven 2, JSF 2, Facelets 2, and Weld

Hello All,

In an effort help new users adopting JSF2 and weld, I wrote a blog post on doing the bare minimum getting started with Weld: http://info.rmatics.org/2009/10/17/jsf2tutorial0/
(link).

In the next week or 2, I am hoping to write more posts on doing more substantial tasks, such as CRUD, form handling, validation, etc.

Any feedback or suggestions for improvement are greatly appreciated.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions on getting the tutorial read? I am new to blogging and don't know where to send a post like this once it's written. I sincerely want to help new users get started and help Weld get traction, but my post isn't doing too well in Google searches yet.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. I added an extra section for Tomcat Users Side Adventures in JSF 2.0: Deploy the Hello World example in Tomcat.

There's really nothing to it, you simply add a context.xml file. I also added a bit about using cargo. It's really nice that a single war can be deployed to both containers.

I am working on more substantial tutorials and hope to have them up soon.
