Weld in SoCal?

when are you guys doing a JUG or similar in Los Angeles area? I saw GKing out here back when Seam 1.0 (beta?) was out around 2005/2006.

or how bout a webinar format where we can see a demo in Eclipse, etc. and ask questions about the code and design patterns, etc.

I want to see the booking example in Weld 1.0.0 with JBoss AS EE 6 Preview (when is that due out again?)

I wonder how difficult it would be to refactor the Seam booking to Weld 1.0.0? Is it possible?

I think Dan did some work on that (I recall some mails on the list regarding removal of beans and producer fields in this context)
