Are you using an ear project that contains a war module or just a standalone war project?
Thanks Keith for reading my post.
I use a standalone WAR project.
I juste made a test which was to move PrettyPatatoList to the entity package and the components.xml file got read without any problems.
I know Eclipse uses a different deployment method for the entity and the session packages. How can I fix this diference without breaking the way Eclipse works.
I will keep working on it but any comment will be highly apreciated.
Sounds like you're using the Eclipse JBoss Tools, and unfortunately, I'm not that familiar with them.
You might try reading ClassLoadingConfiguration.
Its possible it could provide some clues, especially if you look at the artifacts that are deployed to your jboss server.
I'd assume this is a hotdeploy class in WEB-INF/dev. Hot deployed classes cannot be referenced in components.xml.
Thank you for comfirming what i taught.
Fot those wondering how i bypassed this problem,I simply created another folder and within the same packageName as in the hot-deploy folder.
So when I have finished working on my class I simply drag and drop the file in the non hot-deploy folder.
