2. Re: Remoting Callback
samdoyle Mar 6, 2008 6:44 PM (in response to srpantano)I don't see any include for your remote component.
You should have something like the following located somewhere:
<s:remote include="configuratorAction"/>
Although if you are saying that the call is working on the remote class then you probably do.

3. Re: Remoting Callback
samdoyle Mar 6, 2008 6:49 PM (in response to srpantano)If not using tags then something like this:
<script type="text/javascript" src="seam/resource/remoting/interface.js?configuratorAction"></script>

4. Re: Remoting Callback
srpantano Mar 6, 2008 6:52 PM (in response to srpantano)I put this (script tag), but still does not work!

5. Re: Remoting Callback
samdoyle Mar 6, 2008 6:55 PM (in response to srpantano)Also don't you need a local interface in which you define the WebRemote method signature? Look at the remoting example included with the Seam distribution.

keithnaas Mar 6, 2008 9:03 PM (in response to srpantano)Which browser are you using? Do you have any javascript errors in the browser? If using Firefox, I would highly recommend FireBug for debugging browser stuff.

8. Re: Remoting Callback
srpantano Mar 6, 2008 9:12 PM (in response to srpantano)I'm using Firefox with Firebug, but it doesn't show a error. It process the class method normaly, but doesn't call the Callback in javascript.

9. Re: Remoting Callback
keithnaas Mar 6, 2008 9:35 PM (in response to srpantano)Inside of the remote.js, does it show the ajax call completing?
Set a breakpoint in Seam.Remoting.requestCallback and see if the req.readyState is ever 4 and if the req.status is ever 200.

10. Re: Remoting Callback
srpantano Mar 6, 2008 9:54 PM (in response to srpantano)if I turn on the debug, Firebug's console of debug show:
if (req.status == 200)at line 650.

11. Re: Remoting Callback
shane.bryzak Mar 7, 2008 12:11 AM (in response to srpantano)Turn on remoting's debug mode, either in JavaScript:
Seam.Remoting.setDebug(true);
Or in components.xml:
<component name="org.jboss.seam.remoting.remoting"> <property name="debug">true</property> </component>
That way you'll see the request and response packets that are sent/received from remoting.

12. Re: Remoting Callback
srpantano Mar 7, 2008 1:21 PM (in response to srpantano)It was I do! I turn on the debug and in debug's window shows:
if (req.status == 200)at line 650 in remote.js

shane.bryzak Mar 7, 2008 4:53 PM (in response to srpantano)Do you have the Seam resource servlet configured correctly in web.xml?
