1. Re: Deploying multiple seam enabled wars
gav_on_rails Apr 23, 2008 2:13 PM (in response to gav_on_rails)This strikes me as a common scenario, does anyone know if this is possible or not? Thanks.

gav_on_rails Apr 23, 2008 4:16 PM (in response to gav_on_rails)Thanks very much for the advice on how to search a forum... Needless to say I have searched this and many other forums for a definitive answer to this and none have provided a clear answer.

danielc.roth Apr 24, 2008 12:37 PM (in response to gav_on_rails)No worries :-)
I could provide the links to the JIRAs where issues regarding multiple wars are pin-pointed, but your remark makes me confident that you can find them yourself in this forum. ;-)

mboul May 22, 2008 6:11 PM (in response to gav_on_rails)I have glanced your JIRAs regarding problems. Does seam development team have any plans to resolve the issues regarding deploying of multiple wars in a single ear file (multiple components.xml, etc.)?

7. Re: Deploying multiple seam enabled wars
erace.spam.erace.pl May 30, 2008 6:24 PM (in response to gav_on_rails)Maybe some more info about the current state of things and symptoms.
I have 1 ear that
suppose
to contain 2 ejb-jar's and 2 seam war's (all contain seam.properties, are properly configured, basically work). The main idea is that ejb-jar hold beans and entities for war's to be used. When deploying ear with just 1st pair web app works fine. When deploying just 2nd pair everything works fine as well. When dploying 2 pairs the I get well knownWARN [SeamPhaseListener] There should only be one Seam phase listener per application
.War that has been deployed as 2nd does not parse *.xhtml and returns their contents to the browser.
Any ideas how to fix this?
/p

susnet.susanne.susnet.se Jun 15, 2008 2:35 PM (in response to gav_on_rails)I have searched the forum and JIRA and sure there are a lot of threads regarding multiple wars but I can not find a single one with a solution to the problem: How to get rid of
WARN [SeamPhaseListener] There should only be one Seam phase listener per application
??
Any help is appreciated.

dan.j.allen Jun 15, 2008 7:06 PM (in response to gav_on_rails)Being a member of the team, I can say that you have my vote on making this an example application so everyone can use it as a starting point. I think it is a great use case. I can admit that I have never tried it, so I certainly would be interested in being able to have an example on hand when needed. Let me talk to Jay about it.
