Version question about EJB3StandaloneBootstrap

I'm trying to use EJB3StandaloneBootstrap and JBoss 4.2.0 GA but I'm having problems finding the class (and some other related classes).

Could it be that it was not included in jboss-ejb3.jar for 4.2.0 GA? I found it there when I checked out the latest and built it (jboss-head).

If so can I checkout a suitable tag / branch and build it myself?

EJB3 bootstrap is retired. Dont' use it we don't support it.

Does this mean that Embeddable EJB 3.0 is not supported for JBoss 4.2.0?

If it is supported then I would be VERY happy for some instructions / hints on how to use it.

I did read something about it beeing based on JBoss HEAD which I assume is JBoss 5.0.* (http://docs.jboss.org/ejb3/embedded/embedded.html)
but at the same time it was included in JBoss 4.0.4 and therefore I'm a little bit more confused than ususal.

I saw some info that embeddable ejb3 should be replaced with embeddable jboss.

But what alternatives do I have if I use JBoss 4.2.0?
