18.2. The special mail-ra.rar is no longer bundled with seam. According to the documentation is should be available in an extras directory

1.2.1.1. example 1.1 has some entities on the 1st line and is missing a reference (???)

4.3. (There is much more information about component lifecycle and injection in the next chapter.) it would be nice to have a link or section reference (x.y.z.)

Thank you for finding this. The extras directory is not added to the dist. I just created JBSEAM-3072. You can download from here for now.
