I have the following problem. I form with some filds. One of them is a simple select box with a large result set. It's very difficult for a user to find the exact item. What would be nice is to have a button 'Select'. After clicking it should display separate window (or richfaces modal panel) with list of result. User could filter the result and clisk 'Select' for desired item. Some JavaScript should set the hidden field with the ID of the item and display its name on the form.

Is there any example of such a solution? Could anybody direct me how to do it?
