How not to interpolate EL in XHTML

Is there is way to display EL expression as is on xhtml page, without having it interpolated?

By default Seam interpolates all EL automatically.

eg #{addTag('tag name')} should appear as is on xhtml page.

Put a backslash before the el like so \#{addTag('tag name')}

it stops it being interplated but then it shows slash too. anyway way not to show \?

I wanted el in input box allowing user to easily copy the expression.

Can you post code, it works as expected for me: <input value="\#{notInterpreted}" /> displays #{notInterpreted} on the page.

Samuel thanks it works now. I had <h:inputText value="\#{notInterpreted}" /> instead of <input.../>.
