    raiseAsynchronousEvent and db persistence

      So Im not sure why this persists:


      events.raiseEvent("createTicket", selectedId);



      yet this doesnt:


      events.raiseAsynchronousEvent("createTicket", selectedId);

      Ive tried everything from @Transactional to @TransactionAttribute to using:

      Ive obviously got some sort of knowledge gap.
