No configuration changes should be necessary.
I figured out my problem. My seam-gen'd pages have relative links in them and they were trying to pull templates and failing. JSF presumably stops processing and the underlying servlet returns a 404.
Same problem for me... i work from the seam gen files, and i would like to put some .xhtml and their .page.xml in sub folder but i get 404 error too.
I have the same configuration :
<filter-mapping> <filter-name>Seam Filter</filter-name> <url-pattern>/*</url-pattern> </filter-mapping>
Have you found any solution ?
oops, ignore my question ... Max gave the solution, it was a probleme with relative reference to the template ....
