what is the need of s convertEntity

can i know exactly what is the need to use <s:convertEntity />

Hi,

convertEntity implements the JSF converter interface, which contains 2 methods: toString and toObject.

convertEntity is often used to convert between an Object to and from its string representation for a selectItems list.
