By the way if I generate my application with seam generate and then import it in eclipse it does work.
as a guess: is
tablethe name of a table? if so, you'd probably run in some naming conflict.
... if i understood you right...
forget it, i got you wrong. you replaced 'yourname' with 'table' just for the posting...
jboss tools was not workign fine for me as well so i had to use seam-gen. Seam-gen seems to be workign very well so if i were you i would stick with seam gen... furthermore , i found it pretty difficult to keep up with the two different projects that jboss tools create.
I am using JBossTools 3.0 to generate crud aplications (new seam generate entities) and it's working fine...
The error generate any other messages?
Are you using a Hibernate configuration or JPA EntityManager?
With Seam creating a mapping file with all the tables isn´t needed.
I advise you to create the project with seam-gen. Then with seam-gen generate entities as well. It should work.
If you use JBoss Tools keep in mind that generated project directories are not exactly the same that those you get by means of seam-gen. Anyway JBoss tools works as well, although I´d rather seam-gen.
Have a look at chapters 2 (Getting started with Seam, using
seam-gen) and 3 (Getting started with Seam, using
JBoss Tools) of the seam reference in /doc/reference/ and good luck!
