Why don't you add a simple servlet that does response.sendRedirect(), mapped to the desired path?
Alternatively you can try adding the mime mapping in web.xml:
<mime-mapping> <extension>jsf</extension> <mime-type>text/html</mime-type> </mime-mapping>
The latter should work, but I haven't tried it.
