Upgrading Hibernate on Jboss 4.2.3

Well it's definitely not a Seam question, but here the community is much more alive, so I will ask it anyway. Is there any how-to to upgrade the built-in hibernate libs on Jboss 4.2.3? JBoss 4.2.3 comes with hibernate 3.2.4 (18/05/07) and its currently 3.3.2 (24/06/09), i think that 2 years of difference can make a lot of improvement in a lot of ways. Have someone tried that before?

I have not tried it myself yet...

JBoss 5.1.0.GA has this version of hibernate-core in %JBOSS_HOME%\common\lib directory:

Implementation-Version: 3.3.1.GA

Just keep in mind the Hibernate dependencies (like javassit, etc.) when you do the manual upgrade (unless there is a Hibernate/Jboss upgrade script).

Well i tried to upgrade it before but man... how many problems appeared in my way. I gave up, and looked for some how-to. Well, at least now i know about the sl4j. I will give a look again later.
