I have a manyToMany relationship where the join table also has a text field.  Something like Student, StudentClass, Class where the StudentClass also has a grade attached to it. 

I would like the user to be able to check the class from a list of classes, but also add the grade to the checked off class. 

Is there any example of a UI out there that has this type of model?  Can my selectItems have a text box for grade?
