hi all,
i am developing a masterpage in my seam application,
to insert/update  a record into that master page i use modelpanel with save and update buttons .
in that model panel i have a validation operation on a field, when this operation fails i am able to display faces message.

my problem is ,
if validation is fails the validation message will be displaying fine but when i press save button on model panel, the model panel is closing. my requirement is i need to restrict model panel when validation is fails.

can anyone help me how would i do this?
