Problem in Custom finder with > and <

Hi , This may seem like a stupid question but in jaws i am trying to set a custom finder to do a > and a < on two columns, According to the Jboss documentation > should be ok but I get a error message during deployment saying that < is not legal markup.

I have tried '<' and "<" can anyone guide me to what is acceptable here. Thanks in advance

The problem here is that < or > has special meaning in XML therefore the XML parser will fall over on this. There are two options

1. use > for > and < for <
2. use <![CDATA[ your query ]]> around your query

This should work (I haven't tried it tho)

Thanks for your help, i figured out to use > for > and < for < , it works fine now.
