Field order when using seam-gen

Hi guys,

When I use seam-gen or JBoss Tools to generate the CRUD, by default, the fields are displayed in an order sorted by their names.

Is there any way to ensure that this does not happen?

I am guessing you are refering to your Entity beans?
This is not possible, at least not for Hibernate.

Maybe if you hack the reveng file, but I am not sure.

Thanks for your response.

No, this is on the CRUD pages. The fields appear in an order sorted by their name rather than their position in the underlying table.

Is there a solution for that?

No that is not possible. You have to do it manually.
