I was looking at this article in the FAQ about page actions and postback.
It says:
if the page contains a JSF form, you may want to avoid repeating the heavy lifting again. You essentially need a conditional page action.
Can anyone explain the connection for me? Why is the presence of a JSF form important?
What would be the difference if there wasn't a JSF form?
AFAIK in JSF you have 6 phases, but in non jsf forms you have just request and response
