    Progress Database

I managed to get Progress to work as a database. You need at least V9.1B27 to make this work. I made a mapping entry for standardjaws, but I don't actually use it, and have not tested it. I suspect there may be problems with SQL generating tables in Progress. They don't have an ALTER TABLE sql command, and I suspect that that is used. I did use CMP beans, but I specified the mapping (in jaws.xml) and created the tables manually, and told jaws not to create them.

Just thought someone would like to know this. Feel free to contact me about it.

I tried sending you email, but it bounced (over quota). I have a legacy application that I would rather use entity beans to access then JDBC. Could you send me a copy of your binding or post it here?

          TIA,
