we want to monitor our logfiles of jboss server. up to now we use logcheck with a custom ruleset we created. Logcheck filters the logfile hourly by regexp pattern (the ruleset) and send only lines that dont matches to the pattern per email to us. But if there are exceptions over multiple lines logcheck cant filter it useable. Would be great if there is one tool where we can give komplex pattern for exceptions usw.

How are you monitor your logfiles ? are there other solutions to get a morning overview about critical items in logfiles ?
