Unable to compile the IDM sample program

I downloaded the the sample program from http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/picketlink/idm/tags/1.0.0.GA/example/simple/. But I am not able to compile it. I am getting error as enclosed. The container Maven Dependencies references non existing library. c:\...\m2\repository\hsqldb\1.8.0.7\hsqldb-1.8.0.7.jar. And there are many other errors as enclosed. I am from Microsoft world. New to Java and Maven etc. However I have successfuly compiled and loaused all the JBoss quick start and Openshift sample. This is the first one I am having problems with. I will appreciate the help. Thank you.

I am guessing I downloaded the sample program based on the Wiki and the quick start instructions. I guess they might be old. I am planning to follow the 2.0.2 final and sample applications that come with it. I hope, it will work. Until then please do not worry about the above mentioned issue. Thank you.
