Scheduling

All I need is some really really basic scheduling in my current seam app. Can anyone point me in the direction of a basic tutorial on scheduling or even better an example for seam?

There is Seam Cron module. However, it's still in Alpha phase. Does not work as expected when I used it few months ago. If you're on an app server like AS7 you're better off with scheduling services offered by EJB.
