Error initializing endpoint: java.net.SocketException: Protocol family not supported

      Hello everyone,

I am trying to launch a standalone JBOSS 7 server with JDK 1.7 (service start from the MS-DOS command line)

This is the error I am getting:

ERROR [org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol] (MSC service thread 1-4) Error initializing endpoint: java.net.SocketException: Protocol family not supported

      The complete stack is:

I am not even sure where the org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol class could be located. I have not found it in any of the jar files I have on my machine.

I am not sure what additional information I should provide. At this point I would just like to start a discussion.

Has anyone faced any similar problem?

      Thanks all.
