    Time frame for 3.0

      Is there a time frame for 3.0 and 3.1? (Sorry if it's posted elsewhere and I missed it.) I'm working on an article about JSF 2 portlet inter-communication, and it would be good to know when JSF 2.0 support will be final.

          Kito,

           

          Currently working on getting the TCK to pass for 3.0 and I will be releasing a CR1, closely followed by a Final.  Depending on how it goes, it should be some time this week.

           

          For 3.1, which will be RichFaces 4 support, that probably won't be Final for a while, but am intending to releasing at least the first Alpha around early August.

            Thanks, Ken. So does 3.0 work with RichFaces 4 at all?

              I have done some basic testing with RichFaces 4, and a lot of the simple components already work fine without changes, but at the moment I don't have a list of what does and doesn't work in RichFaces 4, that's next on the todo
