Seam 2 PDF templates in Seam 3 application

Hi,

I'm migrating an application based on Seam 2 and J2EE5 to Seam 3/J2EE 6. In the old application we have created many PDF templates using Seam 2 PDF module. So my question is whether it is possible to use Seam 2 PDF module to be able to reuse those Seam 2 PDF templates within J2EE 6/Seam 3 application. Then I would be able to avoid tedious move from Seam 2 templates to, say, Jasper templates. I'm assuming that it is not possible to do so. But I just want to make sure before I start moving those templates to another PDF Framework.

You'd have to update the components to JSF 2. Also you'd need to probably upgrade the foundation parts that do the rendering to JSF 2 as well. I'm sure it's possible, but it probably won't be easy.
