Here is some more information - a portion of my ejb-jar.xml:

<method-name>findByFolderFilename</method-name>
<method-params>
<method-param>String</method-param>
</method-params>
</query-method>
<ejb-ql>[CDATA[select object(m) from Msg as m where m.fromHdr = ?1]]</ejb-ql>


And when I invoke findByFolderFilename() this is the log I get from mySQL:

SELECT msgId FROM Msg WHERE folderFilename='/etc/foofile1016949041037'

So clearly it has simply used the method name to determine
the query. And if I do not name it findBy,
then it does not even create a query, and when I call the
method it looks like JBossCMP silently does nothing.

Is all this accurate, or have I missed some important piece? Is anyone out there...?
