        Hi, Max:

After I disable the CDI validation in jboss tools and unchecked everything under jboss tools maven integration and remove all projects and reimport them to eclipse, it is much better now. I don't see CDI kicks in anymore. The eclipse is very responsive. So a huge thank you for give me those hints.

We use cdi extensively in our codebase and with advanced cdi features and some of our own extensions. So I personally like cdi but this jboss tools really need improvement on the cdi performance. I will see if I can write a JIRA with a sample project, but it would be hard because the reason I had this performance problem is that I have more than 10 modules with lots of cdi annotations. I will do it if I have time. Without a solid sample project, I could not open a jira.

Also, in a separate thread, I mention that jboss tools (lastest stable 4.1.1) does not work with Wildfly 8. I think it is still the issue. The eclipse simply crashes.
