    Sybase driver problem with 3.0.1

    Alex Fridman Newbie

      Hi,
I am trying to get JBoss 3.0.1RC1 running with a Sybase ASE 12.0 database and getting the following exception:

org.jboss.util.NestedSQLException: Apparently wrong driver class specified for URL: class: com.sybase.jdbc2.jdbc.SybDriver, url: jdbc:sybase:Tds:10.10.71.30:7000/allocation; - nested throwable: (javax.resource.ResourceException: Apparently wrong driver class specified for URL: class: com.sybase.jdbc2.jdbc.SybDriver, url: jdbc:sybase:Tds:10.10.71.30:7000/allocation)

Looking at the source it appears that the driver failed to register for some reason, NOT that it couldn't be found. Also, this never used to happen in 3.0.0.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?
      Thanks.
