we are migrating from JBoss 4 and JBoss 6 to JBoss 7.1.1.final.

We like to authenticate and authorize for the management console over our LDAP.

With the older JBoss versions that worked fine with the LDAPExtModule. The role-based authorization we have configured within the element security-role in the web.xml of the JMX-console.

So, JBoss 7.1.1 seems to be completly different. A authentication over LDAP might work. But I cannot find a web.xml of the management console.

Do I have to configure my roles in another file? A mgmt-roles.properties does not exist.

Hopefully, anyone knows an answer.
