How to add unique contraint to a non-primary key column

I would like to add a unique constraint to a column that is not a primary key. How do you do this using JBoss CMP 2.0? I am assuming it is something to be added to the jbosscmp-jdbc.xml file?

Also, how does do you catch the constraint exception?

You can't. The problem is this requires explicity knowledge about he database vendor exception structure. This is be in 4.0.
