JBoss AS don't run in Jboss Developer studio

I'm learning JBoss AS and JBoss ESB with the guide "JBossESB Beginners Guide". Following the guide, I installed everything under the / opt directory (which is in writing only for super root). While the terminal I can run JBoss AS, JBoss Developer Studio can not start the service, I get errors in the console. Depends on the rights to the directory / opt? thank you very much

I have given access rights to / opt and everything is ok.

yes, the deployment directory and the log/configuration directories needs to be writable to the user running/deploying applications.
