HortnetQ + rhel6.3 + gfs

I have been asked to setup a server to handle Hornetq in a clustered setup, using shared filesystem.

I setup up in dev with NFS, I believe we were able to get to ~720K m/s I then added cman,gfs2 to these nodes and mount a shared lun with GFS2 that number dropped down to ~500k m/s.

I haven't found any tune help for GFS2 in this scenario

For the amount of effort should we be sticking with NFS ? I do note in the doco it does state fast SAN clustered files system is the best approach !
