1. Re: subprocesses
tsurdilovic Jan 18, 2013 4:53 PM (in response to ritblitz)Is there a way in which we can open the embedded subprocess while viewing another process. (without having to go to drools repository)? Let me know if there is a way.
Currently you can see the embedded subprocess process image only. Please open a Jira for this and we'll address it for the next version.
It will also be good to have a tabbed view in the web designer, wherein we can open/edit multiple processes.
Currently with the 5.x Guvnor integration you can open and work on multiple processes at the same time (tabbed view). We are working currently on integration with the UberFire project where a tabbled approach should also be possible.

ritblitz Jan 21, 2013 3:23 AM (in response to tsurdilovic)Thanks for the response. Have created a Jira for the same.
Thanks for pointing out to UberFire project, i was looking for something on those lines. It will be good to have this option in the UberFire project as well.
Couple of more queries:
1. In UberFire dashboard, it will be great to have a option to show the Requirements tracebality/covered done. Eg. If there are say some 100 requirements in a new project (in an xml file), then to somehow have a link provided in the bpmn diagrams to capture the specific requirement ids they are categring to. (based on packages). Then the dashboard can probably show to the mgmt how many/which requirements are met by which packages/diagrams. and how many are yet to be done.
2. Is it possible to show the service tasks, in a different layout. E.g. if there are around 20 new service tasks then it is easier to use them if they can be aligned at the top of the page. Is there a way configure this in the web-designer?

3. Re: subprocesses
tsurdilovic Jan 21, 2013 10:45 AM (in response to ritblitz)1. good idea. make sure you have a jira open for all of them.
2. if in your workitem node configuration (.wid file) you specify a "category" property, designer will create that category in the stencil set and add your workitem to it. If you do not specify it then those workitems default to the Service Tasks category. Categories in the stecil set are sorted aplhabetically.

vicretru Mar 13, 2013 12:39 PM (in response to tsurdilovic)Hi, I have seen the JIRA ticket (https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBPM-3908) which indicates that the feature of opening embedded processes is going to be implemented in jBPM 6.X. The ticket is Open, have you got an approximated date of release of this feature? We are evaluating jBPM Process Designer and are interested in this feature.
