Running richfaces 3 tabpanel deletion on richfaces 4

Tried richfaces 3 showcase example - tab deletion on richfaces 4.

Which is not working on richfaces 4.

I have to change switchType to client.

But it will refresh whole tabpanel, not a single tab.

Is it a bug of richfaces 4, or some other setting required.

Nobody is using tab deletion in richfaces 4?
Any suggestions or working example would be much appreciated.
