1. Re: How to make remote call of EJB in Cluster?
wdfink Jan 24, 2013 2:29 AM (in response to juliocspires)With that little information it would not be possible to help.
What version(s) of JBoss do you use?
How the remote call look like?
Maybe you run into the same issue https://community.jboss.org/message/793927#793927

rhusar Jan 24, 2013 1:51 PM (in response to juliocspires)You can also try the remote EJB quickstart: https://github.com/jboss-jdf/jboss-as-quickstart/tree/master/ejb-remote
And try with latest release (7.1.3.Final).

3. Re: How to make remote call of EJB in mod_cluster?
juliocspires Jan 29, 2013 9:39 AM (in response to juliocspires)I have written more details in the description of the problem.
I performed a simple example, but neither worked.
If I put all computers in the file of properties seems to work. However, I would make via the mod_cluster because I need high availability in the EJB.
How to call remote EJBs via mod_cluster? Is there any specific configuration?

rhusar Jan 29, 2013 10:06 AM (in response to juliocspires)I see you renamed the question -- a bit confusing now!
How to call remote EJBs via mod_cluster? Is there any specific configuration?
No, this is not possible. Mod_cluster is only used for HTTP requests. You could expose your EJB via some HTTP and then you can use mod_cluster.
In general, you want to use EJB clustering. You need a JBoss remote EJB client and make your beans clustered, e.g. by adding @Clustered annotation to the EJBs. Once everything is configured and started in cluster, your beans are clustered and highly-available. Loook at the quickstart I linked earlier, also look at some clustering flavours of the quickstarts.
