Java 5 has been EOLed long ago so there's no support for it.

Now the problem is that the client JARS of JBOSS 7 EJB component are compiled using JDK 1.7
That's not right. EJB client library and AS7 both are compiled with Java 6.
Thanks for your response and correction
Even with that I cannot invoke it from jdk 1.5.
Problem is the application which uses it is HP OpenVMS Alpha (supports till JDK 5),
to support JDK6 we need to migrate to HP OpenVMS Integrity server.
Changing hardware is not so easy and quick, so is there any workaround to access it apart from enabling a Web Service Interface which is JDK 5 compliant?
Well, even if the EJB client library was made to "target" Java 5, the various other libraries that it is dependent on will still require a minimum of Java 6 to run. So I don't see a way to use Java 5 runtime for interacting with AS7 client libraries.
Recently I upgrade up application from JBOSS4.2.2 to JBOSS7.

I think it should have been taken into account when the migration task was on, to make sure that the new envrionment would require Java 6 to function.
Well, is there anything like jbossretro for 1.5 to 1.6 invocations like this:
It compiles JDK 1.5 to JDK 1.4 compliant style but says nothing for 1.5 to 1.6.
